Do fish climb ladders?
Why yes, they do. This is the fish ladder on the Deschutes River in Tumwater Falls Park. Returning salmon take the ladder on the right instead of leaping the falls on the left. I happened to be in the park at noon for an office picnic/meeting/law clerk farewell. You can see the rest of today's pictures on Flickr.
