UPDATE Sunday afternoon 12/21:
I got the pez fairy from my friend Elena. She's coming to Rome with me, so look for more posts from her while we are in Rome. At the moment, we are camped out at the Seattle Airport Marriott, well in advance of our Monday noonish flight to Amsterdam. Although it is very cold, it has stopped snowing for the moment. Everything looks good for tomorrow so far - the Amsterdam flight left on time today.
