OK, this will be the last Rome update. We flew out this AM & are waiting for our Seattle flight @ Heathrow. Terminal 4 is nearly empty - all the action is now at Terminal 5. Any way, New Year's in Rome was loud & long, which we noticed because we had to get to bed early. And of course Rome is always full of people. The contrast - including getting back to English is amazing and rather welcome. We are tired but happy we came. Thanks for all your emails - it's been fun to stay in touch this way.
