Hi all,
Yesterday, Sunday, I travelled from Oslo back to London. It's grey here, not too warm but a little humid. But apparently it's raining in Drøbak! I'm staying near the V&A but went back to the Portrait Gallery to have another look at the early Tudors in the evening. This fit in with my current book, the White Queen, about Edward IV & Elizabeth Woodville. Cafe in the Crypt at St Martin in the Fields, newly reopened, was handy for dinner.
Today I walked through Kensington Gardens in the morning and shopped a bit in Marylebone (mainly to visit Daunt Books) after that. Photo is Bond St station. Lunched in the cafe at V&A - ornately gorgeous - then to LHR Terminal 5 by Tube in good time. And there you have it! Pix link to come.
