In case you haven't heard, there's a big power outage here in the Northwest, following a strong windstorm last Thursday night. I lost power around midnight Friday morning and got it back sometime in the afternoon that day. I'm one of the lucky few, too. It's 29 degrees this morning.
Although it's not nearly as big a deal, I still don't have cable, so no TV and no internet. I miss the net and feel disconnected without it. You can only spend so much time parked in coffee houses with wireless and posting from a laptop is awkward.
So that's my longwinded excuse why I have not yet put up an entry on my trip to Las Vegas or in anticipation of traveling to Ohio for Christmas.
