Good works

I joined the Briggs Community YMCA in December. No kidding, for the exercise. Briggs and the Downtown Olympia Y make up the South Sound YMCA. I've been asked to help raise funds for their Strong Kids Campaign. Great organization, great cause and I'm happy to help.

I was surprised to learn that the Y is the largest daycare provider in Thurston County. They never turn any kid away from any of their programs, including daycare, for lack of ability to pay.
